    Mid Year Rear Wiring Harness

I am feeling a bit like a dunce - can't find the reard body connector for the wiring harness on my '64. I traced the wires around to under the antenna, and they (and the antenna lead) go through grommets, but there the trail ends. I see nothing in the rear storage compartment. Where is the connector/how are the wires routed?

Re: Mid Year Rear Wiring Harness

Mark --- The connector for the rear body harness is directly above the driver's left ankle, on the forward/inside channel of the horizontal bridcage brace/bracket, about 2 inches from the hinge pillar. From there the wiring drops forward of the kickpad vent and turns rearward under the 1½" wide horizontal channel, clipped to the body just below the door sill plate. It then goes up and alongside the wheel well and through the grommet at the rear body vertical panel, which you described.
