    1966 jack and handle

    How can you tell an original 1966 jack for my Corvette?are there numbers?(allmost certainly)Ebay has one advertised.Anyone?

      Jordan,

      There was an article in the "Restorer" several years ago explaining the differences in jacks with some reference to handles. If you don't have the old issue of the "Restorer" you can gain access via the new CD's.

      The article was written by a fellow named Joe Ray and coined the phrase for Type I, Type II and Type III jacks for Corvettes.

      You are looking for a Type III jack as described in the article.
