    Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels

I sectioned out an Article that Mr. John Amgwert wrote about in the first Drive-line NCRS did .That show my wire wheels that are on my 55 Corvette. Many question my 55 weather they were dealer accessory option. ( they were listed as MOTOR WHEELS)I hope I'm not wrong in using this and if so please tell me NCRS staff.
This was an Article on the McCulloch blower as people were asking if it was an option.
Remember vary few of use new any thing about our Corvettes back then.

The wheels shown in the Amgwert article were Kelsey-Hays, definitly not Daytons as the Amgwert article implies. the Daytons were chrome plated wire wheels BUT they were two bar Knock-off secured to the adaptor ( that was way inferior to the adaptors that the c-2 K/Os utilized).Sam Folz certainly was a gentleman and scholar. hard to believe its been near 15 years since he departed.NCRS members contributed a significant amount of funds for Mycosis Fungoides Research at Stanford shortly after Sam's death. Sam's wife, Harriet as i recall, toured with a bunch of us to the nationals in Bend Oregon in '89. we all need to remember Chip Miller, Jimmy McCutcheon, as well as the Roy
Sinor family in our prayers. mike

            Doc,

OK, I know about Chip and Jimmy, but the Roy Sinor family ... ?
Senior (Dad)? (Met him - nice guy)
Junior aka Judging Team Leader (Of course, know him well)?

I haven't seen anything noted here.....
