1956 C1 Distributor

I have a 1956 210 HP base motor with a 1110869 vacuum advance distributor.
The base plate bushing is worn and causing some variations to the dwell. We have tried to expand the bushing with some success. However, it is still causing some problems. Is there anyone that knows of a source for these base plates or is someone reworking them that can I can contact? The 1957 Chevy parts book lists this plate as Group 2.385 Pt#1930355.

Now and then you see them under 55 to 57 Chevy on E-Bay NEW for about $15.00. But there was a after market Co. years ago that sold the same plate ridding on ball bearings that works great. and is also on E-Bay now and then.I have that unit in my 55 Corvette and the response is great.

gary:i have some NORS plates that have been laying in the base of my sun distributor machine for at least 30 years. Model 855-d , manufactured by renberles products, detroit mi., calls for application for 55 and 56 chevy v-8s, 55 corvette v8, and 55-56 chevy trucks with dist # 1110846.If you can use it,its your nc. send address. mike
