C2 Headlight Limit Switch Function

Do "limit switches" open a circuit when the headlight door is fully open?

Do they do anything when the headlight door is fully closed?

If not connected, will the headlight door motor work?

First of all it NOT a "limit switch" It does not effect the motor function. All that these two switches do is turn out the "headlight warning" dash light on. If the headlight(s) aren't all the way up this light will flash on the dash.
