    62 cowl vent drains

Where do the cowl vent drain tubes exit the passenger compartment? I am restoring a car that I purchased disassembled a few years ago. I cannot find these drains in the 62 assembly manual.

If my 62 has cowl vent drain tubes, I've never seen them. Haven't noticed them on any of the other C1's I've restored. I may be suffering from amnesia, or on the other hand, you may be dealing with an owner inspired modification. I suspect the latter, but then again, I learn something new every day.

Ditto what Ed said, I've got the dash out of my 62 and I don't see any cowl vent drains. Could you take a picture or describe a little more about where they are and what they look like?

        Terry...

There are no cowl vent drains on a 61'...Two hoses thru the trunk and one fuel overflow is about it.
