When I bought my car the shroud extension was missing from my 69 L68 BB. I recently purchase a replacement from Dr Rebuild along with the mounting hardware. Looking at the AIM it shows the screw mounting the extension to the shroud entering from the outside but doesn't show any nuts or bolts. My shroud has two of the three mounting t-nuts located on the shroud from the outside. This would indicate that the screws should be installed from within the shroud extension into the main shroud. Is this the correct way to mount the extension?

The arrangement on my 70 with a big radiator and a big two piece shroud is the bottom center bolt comes from below with the bolt head on the main shroud and going into the extension. The left and right attachment bolts are installed with the bolt head on the the extension and going into the main shroud and of course are installed from above.
