I'm trying to determine why my horns are not working. I have power to both the horn relay and to the horns. How do determine if the horns are bad or is the relay bad. Or is there another possibility. Thanks

Re: 1965 horns
If you have used a test light or voltmeter to confirm there's B+ going to the horns when you depress the horn switch (lead beneath the 'H' emboss on the top/front of the horn relay cover; note covers are dual embossed so the top front indicates the correct bottomside relay terminal function regardless of installation orientation of the cover), and they don't honk then there's one of three problems....
(1) Your horns are not properly grounded.
(2) The wiring harness from the horn relay to the horns an is open circuit.
(3) Both horns are shot....- Top

Rick:
Remove the offending horn(s), and put 12V across the spade connector and the housing. Make sure that you have continuity across all connections. If it/they still do not work, then send them out for rebuild. I have done many, but there are high volume experts who will do it for cheaper.- Top
