I'm trying to find out if a jack I have is correct for my '58. The only markings I can find is SJ4653 in the middle of the base. Is this one correct? Also is there a way to tell the correct tire iron and handle? Roy can you dig up an article on this one? TIA Ted

Re: C1 Jack
Your jack appears to be correct as long as the base is cast with stamped arms and the center shaft has fine threads.
The lug wrench is forged out of 1/2" diameter steel rod, about 20-23" long. The socket has a series of circumferential lines from being clamped when forged. It also has a small letter "O" in the socket to designate the original manufacturer. Replacement wrenches contain letters "USA". The jack, jack handle and the lug wrench are all painted semi-gloss.- Top
