    C2 & C3 differential yoke sizes

    Hi
It is my understanding that the yoke size on the rear end towards the transmission on the early C2 cars measured 3.75" across its widest point and somewhere in the seventies GM changed the yoke width to 4.25". Does anyone know what year this changed?
    Thanks
    Mike

    Mike-----

For cars equipped with automatic transmission the change in u-joint size occurred in 1968. For cars equipped with 4 speed manual, the change occurred in 1971. 1980 to 1982 Corvettes returned to the smaller size u-joint on the differential end for all applications.
