L79 aluminum valve covers.

We have a set of mid year L79 alum. valve covers. They
have the casting line in the letter O in the cover. The part # on the inside
is 3767493, can anyone give us any more info about these covers?

That same casting number valve cover was used for many years; the casting flaw appeared in one of the molds in late '66 or early '67.
