    Advice on KONI shock settings

Just bought a set of KONI's for my '69 convertible and would like some input on how to set them. The shocks have 5 settings which range from "luxury" to "performance". Kinda figured setting them in the middle. I like to drive the car somewhat agressively in the turns, but don't want it to ride like a rock since the city of Arlington, TX has such a wonderful collection of potholes to share with all of us. Unfortunately, the shocks can only be adjusted OFF OF THE CAR so it's obviously a pain in the rear to compare settings.

Any thoughts are most appreciated and thanx in advance.

I have had koni's on my 63 for many years. I found that to set them fairly mild at first and keep setting them more aggressive as they wore worked good for me. Just my experience. paul young
