    C2 Stumble/3461S-Rod Mismatch

I reported in an earlier post that the engine (327/340) runs fine except when accelerating slowly in low gear-whereupon it wants to bog up to 1200 rpm. The carb was dissasembled and so far the only identifiable problem is a pair of incorrect metering rods. According to the archives they should be 16-389 (.069/.060) but they actually are 16-98 which approximately measure (.063/.053). With .104 jets this gives a 12% "richer" mixture in the economy mode. What are the chances that this is the source of the bog? Tnx Les
