How come only 2 55's listed? I know from some of the questions on this board there are more than 2 out there...

And how come not one 54 includes a photo? I could maybe understand that with 53's...

Many people have a need to keep their Corvette a secret and many or most are not NCRS members. I've been in to NCRS from the beginning and over all those years have seen may be 20 different 55's

Over a hundred on the 53-55 Registry...

...that is, over a hundred 55's. And the guy running it admits its several years behind, due to changing hands. The new custodian is John Hutchins kjhh41@hotmail.com.

I did not register mine on the c1 registry, I am in the 53-55 registry and I assumed that the c1 registry would at least get the info from the 53-55 registry to start out. Mine is not a secret but how many registries do we have to go in.

The 53, 59 and 61 cars are not to be added to this site out of respect to other peoples efforts to set up registries. I don't want to offend them by competing with their sites. Whenever they decide to stop their sites I will allow the enterance of these years cars as well...

He just took it over last year. The now out of date latest issue has well over 1000 53-55 cars listed. It would be great if you could work something out.

I just send the following mail to John (let's see what he answered):

Hi John,

First let me introduce myself, I'm Rob Musquetier and I'm running the http://www.c1registry.com on the internet. I understand that you currently maintain an off-line early C1 registry yourself and that you are doing this manually. Would you be interrested to import all these cars into the on-line version as well, if so I could assist in doing this.

Please let me know your thoughts so I can investigate how to proceed in doing this (if you would like the idee) ?
