67 windshield wiper blades

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know who produces the correct "peaked design" wiper blades for a 67? I just ordered a pair from Long Island Corvette and they are the same flat type that we already have. This was brought to our attention at the last chapter meet we attended and I cant find the correct ones. There was only 1 67 that had the correct peaked blades at that meet. Are they only found NOS? Thanks for any help.

I have a 67 and I'm not sure what you are talking about. Could you please describe the wiper arms better so I can tell if mine are correct?

Roger, The blade holders (brushed metal) that come from long islad are relativly "flat" in appearence. The correct ones have a peaked design to the holder. it comes to more of a point than the 66 or before blades.

I think your best chances of finding correct peaked blade holders is at a swap meet. My experience has yield vendors that don't know the difference. Better to see them first hand to be sure you get what ya want.

I have also found that other 67 GM cars use the same blades. I have gotten them from 67 GTO's, Chevelles and even Camaro's. Price is usually much less than the same part advertised as a corvette part. I probably have an extra set or two, I will look if you are interested.

Can't speak for Mr. McGettrick, but I am interested! I have a set of the LI replacement blades now. I am also looking for a set of the correct dull windshield wiper arms for 1967?
