3782461 head volume?

Anyone know the approximate head volume in the 3782461 heads? (327 340hp).

Trying to figure out the pistons to get ~10.5:1.

Alan Colvin's book shows these heads as having combustion chamber volume of 62.076 cubic centimeters.

Hmmm, I thought they were 64 cc. Best bet would be to cc them to be sure as they may have been cut/surfaced at some time in the past.

They were 64cc, nominal, with brand new valve seats, and brand new valves. Valve seat recession/ and or wear at the valve seats will cause the actual chamber volume to increase.

Best thing you can do is to cc your heads. After lightly surfacing my 461 heads (1.5"/ 2.02"), installing hardened exhaust seats, polishing and unshrouding, I measured individual volumes @ 68cc +/- 1.0cc, after getting them all as close as possible.

With 1.94/1.5 valves 461s are 61/62 cc. The 64 cc number applies to 2.02/1.6 valve versions that have a radius cut on the inlet side to unshroud inlet valve.
