Carter AFB Compition series Carb???

Dear Follow Vette Lovers;

I have found that my 1979, has a Carter AFB Compition series 9605S carb. After searching the web and local parts houses, I can find no tech info (ie. Manuals, Blow up sheets, or anything!!). Am I looking in the right places, or just stupid? If anyone knows of a knowledgable person in the Cleveland, Ohio area, or where to find printed materials please tell me.

i have the AFB parts manual but it is 1000 miles away at home. e mail me after 3-4-04 and i will scan you what you need.

The Edelbrock Performer is essentially the same carb. You can get an owner's manual for it at:
