    mid year radials

What is the best size radial for my 66 roadster?I currentlly have P20575R15M/S on the car.

I will be dealing with Diamond Back as their name seems to keep coming up when I talk tires for my car.Has anybody ran a P21570R15?(wider and a little shorter.I dont drive the car in the winter so the M/S(mud and snow)could go couldnt it?.and just go with a pure summer tire.

They sell a goldline radial, has anyone had experience with their goldline radials?.Jordan

I heard there was a pretty good two part article in The Corvette Restorer last year that tells you everything you need to know about selecting modern replacement tires for vintage Corvettes.

          Jordan,

I run 215/70-15 Goodyear Aqua Tread 3 tire on my '64 vert with knock-offs. They fit fine and are close to the correct height 26.9" and 775 revs per mile compared to 760 rev per mile for 6.70-15 and 775 revs per mile for 7.75-15 tires which keeps the speedo close. They are T speed rated for 118 mph. The Tire Rack has them for sale at $69 each. I've also heard good things about the Michelin brand Harmony tires. They are $93 each and are said to have a very smooth and quiet ride. They are only S speed rated at 112 mph. Both the Goodyear and Michelin are blackwall tires.

          Best Regards,
