    '56-'57 Grill Oval

I would appreciate comments from anyone that has recently installed one of the reproduction grill ovals currently offered by the reproduction houses. How does it compare to the fit of the originals. Was any modification required?

    Thanks

No! but the repro round ends R&L were flared out more from the original to help cover the body cut outs. And it may be more difficult to install the backing plate nuts. But other wise they fit good and look good, remember fit the top area cut outs first ( you don't try and reach the top body ridge) , then spread the shell to help cover the bottom cut outs ( the five brackets have elongated slots to allow you to do this) Just be carful and take your time.
