Just Curious ?

Looking through the site I notice that there is a President, VP, so on and so forth. As a new member .... just curious .... are these positions elected or permanent positions held for life or .... otherwise??????

The organization consists of a Board of Directors from the various regions. From this board the President, VP, etc are elected. The directors serve two year terms. The officers serve annual terms. There are a lot of members, who receive little or no recognition, behind the scenes that also move the organization. 15,000 members and less than 50, which for the most part are volunteers, that put forth most of the effort to move it forward.

The articles of incorporation and the by-laws are available to members who so desire.
