OK I got SOME of you talking about the Radiator shrouds, now the 53 to 55 soft top material . If you bother to look at your G.M service manual you will see the filler. that all repro tops are missing. Many were torn off the original tops , like the rubber cup finger lock caps used on the frame assy above the windows to lock the soft top frame . If any one drives their 53 to 55 on a cold night with the windows in you get a cold neck from the air going up it. Again neither item here is judged like so many other original items, but if you wont to get that cold air off your neck , it's about 2in. wide 3in. long and can be sewn on easily.

I have the bubble top on my car right now. It's the same material as the soft top and the bottom area is a rope like mohair. It starts at the button back to the start of the top assy and is sewed on the same stitching line as the top area down there.
If you just set the top on the frame and look at that area , I think you can figure it out your self . As I said it's about a 3x5 sewed inside and when you put the top up you need to position it. I hope I made it clear , but don't worry about being so perfect about it . After all, only you and I know it's originalComment
