69 L-46 intake manifold

I have seen several questions about the correct manifold, the latest from a judging in Texas. I have the wrong intake on mine it is 3890490. I have found a 3927184 and believe this to be correct. The date is I 11 8 which I geuss is September 11 68? mY BLOCK DATE is k 12 8 which I think is November 12 68. Would this manifold and date be correct for my car? The price is 75.00 which I don't think is bad, it seems to be in good shape.

If the block you have is original to the car, then the manifold date that you are looking at would "work" for your car with respect to NCRS and NCCB judging guidelines.

The price sounds fair. The GM #3927184 intake mnaifold was used for 1969 300 hp and L-46 Corvette applications. It was also used for most other 1969 Chevrolets equipped with Rochester 4 barrel carbs. So, it's not rare, at all.

Thanks for your response. The block is the origonal. The numbers match. So I can safely go with this or any other as long as it pre dates the block? I also need a carb. but I think that will be harder to find. Thanks again Joe.
