WCFB identification

I have two WCFB carbs that I'm hoping someone can help me identify.

The first has a brass tag #2555-S, is stamped in the upper corner 6-1271, and stamped in the center section 0-1108.

The second is a rebuilt in a Carter box, has no tag, is stamped in the upper corner 6-1586, and stamped in the center section 0-1451.

A chart I have from a Restorer Article indicates that the 1271/1108 (brass tag should read 2655S) carb is a single four barrel for a 1957 Corvette and the 1586/1451 is a 1962 Corvette single four barrel. Hope some else chimes in to authenticate this. I'm new at identifying carburetor numbers.

The 2555-S is a 1957 passenger car WCFB. The air horn and body casting numbers also confirm that application.

It's hard to say exactly what the second carb is. However, based on the air horn and body casting numbers, I believe that it's a 3190 or 3191 used for 1962 passenger cars and 250 hp Corvettes.

Thanks for your info. I guess the Restorer article didn't tell all. I've been trying to ID a couple of WCFB's using the chart, and I'm probably off base on these also. I posted a request on my numbers a week or so ago, but only received one maybe it's this reply.
