    C3 Transmission Clutch

    I am looking for a good street clutch for my 1970 LT1 M20 transmission.I am leaning toward Centerforce or Hayes.GM"s 10 spline 11 inch clutch plate, disc and throw out bearing are all discontinued.Any info would be appreciated.

      A Centerforce II or LuK replacement will do the job for you - smooth engagement, low pedal pressure, great grip. "While you're in there", replace the pilot bushing and have the flywheel resurfaced too - you only want to do this job once

              You can also get a RAM stock replacement clutch through SUMMITT. I've used them on my big blocks with good results -m comes as a complete kit for just over $100.

                  Make sure you have it all balanced, or you WILL be in there a 2nd time, been there, done that........Craig
