I posted a message previously that provided me with a good source from which to purchase a front Flexiglass bumper for my '74 Coupe (Eckler's). Any thoughts out there on the topic and task of undertaking a small "Paint Touchup Detail"? I'm also interested in hearing from anyone who's located in the GreaterDanbury/Fairfield County area of Connecticut that knows of a good person to go to for "Paint Touchup" (I have the matching paint). I'm looking to touchup the two areas that are each approximately 1/2" x 1 " in size. This is a temporary fix until later in the year when I'll be ready to replace and repaint the bumper. Thanks.

If you want GOOD work, call JC Designs in Oxford. They specialize in street rods/custom paint, lettering, frame off restorations etc. Joe, the owner really knows his stuff and has even built celebrity cars.
I don't have the number with me, but they're in the phone book, and located near Oxford Airport off RTE188.

Thank you...George and Ralph. Your replies were a pleasant surprise. I definitely plan to check in with both of these shops to find out more about having this done...and as I mentioned to George, I may even get the tank on my BMW touched up as well.
I've got to say, the Technical Discussion Board of the NCRS has been such a help to me and is sincerely appreciated. It's worth every penny and more of what you pay in dues.- Top
