GM casting number

Weird GM Block Casting number: GM 0-193457 can anyone decipher this. The rest of the motor is late 50's, 2X4 GM aluminum intake, 2 WCFB carbs, bell housing..etc..Was told GM stamped thier prototype blocks with 0- numbers. but I can't find it documented. Front pad indicates a 327 360 HP. Apprecate any help on this.

Yes, it was common Chevrolet Engineering practice to assign "O-" numbers to experimental parts during development, prior to release/assignment of production part numbers. Is the number a raised casting number or is it stamped, and is it in the usual left rear location? Is there a casting date on the opposite side?

Terry, thanks for the $50 offer for the motor. I have found this engine to be a 327/360HP motor, 2X4 GM aluminum intake w/ carter WCFB carbs. Still has the original bell housing and has never been bored, but has TRW L2166N STD pistons installed. It actually is VIN #00007. Thanks
