    HEATER MOTOR ASSEMBLY C1

On my 1961 heater,I do not see a gasket available for the heater motor with the cage, that bolts to the heater assembly. (assembled with five self tapping screws). Is there a sealant used? If so what is a good choice.
Also, my defroster box is metal. I know it is suppose to be pressboard. What application is the metal box for? Thanks, Joe DeLuca #37862

No sealer--otherwise motor won't run because it won't ground. Metal box is incorrect repro made years ago by Dhyse company--very first repro made before pressboard box was available. Late 70's is my recollection.
