Hello All,
I have two question on future events/ commemorative happenings regarding our marque. Comments would be appreciated.
1. Does anyone know what the color and design specifics ae projected to be for the 50th Anniversary Corvette? For 15 years now I have dreamed of this being my first, and possibly only, new Corvette. The problem? I really don't like the color Gold, and since Bowling Green really has done a poor job in its attempts at Gold paint in the past few years, the thought of a Gold car for the Golden Anniversary really doesn't thrill me. Possibly white/red/black as per 1953? But, NO Gold emblems. The 80's are over....
2. Are there any thoughts as to a National Meet at the GM Tech Center as in the 25th Anniversary of 1978, or as in 1992? I was at the 92 meet and enjoyed it thoroughly. Returning "home" seems appropriate, especially given that we go to Bowling Green in a couple years.
