'57 Radiator recoring and paint color

I have just discovered a small leak in the radiator of my '57 Top Flight car. My questions are, is the original style core available and if so, from who. Are there any suggestions based on past experience as to repair or recoreing and what is the proper black for the core part of the radiator?

Just have it soldered if it isn't running hot.

I think that DeWitts would be your best source for a correct core or radiator.

Can anyone provide a manufacturer and "correct" paint color information for both the radiator and heater core (1957 Corvette)

I agree with Dick, I put in a Dewitt's core on my 60 and could not tell it from the original. I never took a single point deduct for it.

            Re: '57 Radiator paint color-Chuck

            Chuck,
Based upon my original '56 heater core, I would say '57 was unpainted. Regards,
