    Early '59 hood release cables

    What is the proper routing of these cables through the firewall. The AIM (sect 11 sheet 2.00) shows the routing for I believe late '59 through '62 where the cables pull the release lever horizontaly towards the firewall. The early '59 latch release pulls the lever downward. Do the cables use the same firewall exit locations for all years or are there different holes for the earlier cars? Thanks again. Pat G.

      Pat-I have the same dilemna. I'm wondering if the '58 AIM would show the correct routing. Anyone out there that can help us?
