    Correct Key

1969 keys have the E and H stamp but what about knockout? Punched out or left in with small hole? Still waiting for my guide!

    Re: Correct Key

Punchout was installed with key's code stamped when the car left the factory. Punchouts (some or all) could have been separated by dealer doing standard car prep IF the dealer provided the owner with courtesy key ring as part of sale... But, the punchouts, separated from the keys, would ALSO have been provided at that time.

NCRS looks for cars to be presented as delivered from the factory inclusive of then current dealer prep. So, you could present keys either with the punchouts intact in the key or removed but with your keys.

NCCB/Bloomington is a little different. Their standard is as the car sat on the dealership showroom floor. In that case, the punchouts should really be in the keys with code stamps intact.
