    Polished Alternator

I have an Alternator that is polished, looks as though it was polished by a DIY as it is not highly polished. Could anybody put me on the track to getting this thing fixed? Thanks alot!

    Re: Polished Alternator

If you are going for the original look, you are s..t outta luck. I am sure that when the attempt to polish it was made, the "grain" of the aluminum surface was buffed down. If yer are gonna go fer the show and shine look, go to Eastwood and check out their buffing supplies. Anything that ya might need. Some neat stuff to use for restorations also.
