C1 inspection paint on shocks and posi unit

I am rebuilding a 1960, build date of mid Dec of 1959.

Seeking information or pictures of the inspection paint (yellow markings) on the front and rear shocks and also the differential and carrier yoke. I have the Quanta kit and the information provided, though it is more of general guidance for all years . Would like to narrow it down to the timeframe of the build of the car and how the markings were applied at that time. Hope there is some consistency of style or technique or maybe it was just a personal artistic flare of the individaul slinging the brush.

All information is appreciated and I wish to thank all who respond.

All inspection marks were pretty much "blacked out" on the assembly line and it is my understanding are usually not visible on a correctly restored straight axle car. I've seen cars at various shows with a big yellow circle around the differential filler plug and an X on the diff, dabs on the shocks, ect. They were originally on the car then pained over. If you look in Noland Adams resto guide, there are a bunch of great pictures of frames traveling down the assembly line with shiny black out paint, and no visible inspection marks or frame stencils. Blacked out and no visible paint dabs is how I'm restoring my 61, though it hasn't been judged yet. Blacked out is how the late Dale Pearman and a Bloomington judge suggested the frame and suspension look for proper restoration. I'm sure others will offer other ideas.
    Good luck,
    Ron
