C1 Pioneer CD Radio "love IT"

OK again I'm a bad boy, I added a Pioneer CD radio in my 55 under the dash , under the original suck big time AM radio. Also two 5in. speakers ate each corner under the dash( cant see them eather). All high tech stuff and the sound is fantastic. It has a little remote device I keep on the hump to change from AM to FM or CD. It's hard to see unless you bend way down .So now I have the best of the old world and new.

Looks good. I installed the same unit in my 70 cpe and have never regretted it. Did have to cut the bezel and fabricate a backing plate but it was worth it. Bezel was broken anyway. Will replace bezel with original am/fm stereo when having judged. In the mean time it sounds great.

The changer I located on the R/S inner fender on a plate , ran the wire from the radio through where the old radio line runs. Again not to noticeable and hold 7 CD's. It's fun to play the old 50's when people mention how great the original radio sounds.

Nice job, does it play CD's while your driving down the road without skipping? Still looking for a am/fm/cd radio that will fit in a 62's original opening.
