Most of the suppliers I have found have shorter springs with fewer coils.(which they say makes installation easier. but provides the same height as original). After installation is it visually obvious they are not as original, and is this area considered during judging?

Re: '66 BB COIL SPRINGS AND JUDGING
Judges will use whatever ordinary visual means are available to them to assess factory original vs. replacement parts unless a given item (or aspect of it) is barred from inspection by the Judging Guide (E.g. water pump date coding, spark plugs, transmission emboss....and these execption areas vary by car/year based on specific text). Bottom line, if it's visually obvious to you there's a difference betweent the original coil springs and the replacements you're considering, best believe you'll find judges with the same opinion....- Top
