Judging standards show shocks to be spiral and painted black. It does not mention and model or serial numbers. What is acceptable for judging standards? Are the available anywhere? Thanks in advance for any help you may give.

Re: 54 SHOCK ABSSORBERS
I agree with Mike. Us "old" 53-5 judges have bad eyes. It's really tough to look for dates and numbers on shocks, especially the fronts. From my point of view, if it's black and spiral (and the rears have stone guards) it flies in my book. Chuck1963 Corvette Conv. 327/360 NCRS Top Flight
