It's true that Chevrolet never made the combination you are interested in, but depending on what you want to do with the car and the sellers price, don't walk away until you know a little more. If "orignal" is what you want this isn't it. If the price is low enough, you may be able to sell the injector for enough to correct many things on the car. Keep asking questions and learn as much as possible before you plunk down your money. The NCRS has many good referance books available to you and there is probably a chapter in your area. You don't need a Corvette to join, just an interest in Corvettes. Knowledge is power. Bill

My "read" of your question suggests that you do not have an F.I. automatic lined up to purchase, but you would want to purchase such a car if it existed. As you can tell from the other responses a car like this never left the factory.
(Please anybody correct me if I'm wrong) For small blocks I'm pretty sure that the automatic was only available on the 250hp and 300hp motors. Of course that doesn't mean you couldn't purchase a 300hp automatic and "convert" it to a higher horsepower motor. Of course, the conversion to fuel injection would be very costly.
Good luck with whatever you decide. John R. #31818

"Officially", none was ever produced. Are we sure that one has NOT existed since 1965 - maybe not. I will offer the observation that "officially" ZR-1's had manual transmissions - BUT I am aware of one that was at least tested with an automatic.....
