My 65 Roadster has the larger 3" half shafts. By using the larger size instead of the 2 1/2", does it or will it affect rear alignment? Does the larger size affect the suspension height?

The use of the 3" OD shafts will cause absolutely no problem, whatsoever, when used on a 1965, or any 63-79, for that matter. Although the 3" shafts were used in PRODUCTION only for 75+ models, they have been the GM-approved SERVICE replacement shafts for all 63-74 Corvettes for the last 25 years, or so. They're not CORRECT, of course, for 63-74, but they are 100% functional and compatible with everything else on your car. There is no need to modify any alignment settings or any other adjustments when using the 3" shafts to replace the 2-1/2".In Appreciation of John Hinckley
