Interior rear storage compartment lift handles

I have a 1979 Vette with a three compartment storage unit. The lift handles are black and I can't find anything in the judging manual about the finish of the three handles. Anybody with a 79 give me a heads up on the finish? I trying to get it flight judged this summer. Thanks

I don't believe they went to plastic yet so I suspect yours are the metal. Finish is same as the frame and interior. Match up the interior paint (black) and it should work. Interior tends to be satin black or semi but not glossy.

My problem is the interior is in Doeskin, beige. And the metal handles are in glossy black paint? Should the handles be painted satin black or should they match the interior color?

I got the impression from your initial post...the interior was black. But if doeskin...handles are interior color...doeskin!
