Thanks for the info on Bill, I think I saw his ad in Hemmings yesterday. I'll give him a call. I was totally out-sniped on Ebay last night for a nice looking '56 series plate with a '62 sticker. They must have been running some sort of automated bidding software. The bid was at $40, with 1 minute I bid $42 and was instantly told the bid was now $43. I ountered with $44 and again it was instantly 45. this occurred 5 times in the last minute. The winner sniped in a price of $65.65 with 1-2 seconds left. Looking back at the bidding history, one only sees my bids, making it look like I bid against myself 5x in a row. The professional plate collector geeks are obviously heavily armed for this sort of stuff. But now I can go find a set with the first alphanumeric between U and Z!!!
