Hi, I contacted the DMV in Arizona on my vin. for my 68 corvette. They were able to only go back so many years before the information just end. They said that after so many years the information is dumped. I would like to further my search. Any suggestions? Are there other sources for such information. I contacted the earliest owner of the car that I have a record for but I suspect he has thrown out all his old paper work. Best regards, Terry

Did you get an reply from the earliest owner known? If not, keep after him/her - Write a letter, and call again. Just the name for the seller (to them) can get you going.
Use yahoo.com's people search if you have a name and a town, or just a name and a state. Good Luck.

Who, when, where and why? AZ has purged their
records - who owned the car - where did he live - contact the Library to see if they had a "City Directory" for that town for the year that you are concerned with........to get answers, you need to provide facts....it's not enough to say I've got a '68 Corvette - who used to own it?Comment
