Need Help Identifying Timing Chain Cover for 6"

I pulled this off my NOM late '66 passenger car 327. The bent portion of the tab that is welded to the cover faces up. The marks on the tab are A,0,R. There was a recent post on 8" balancer covers but this is a 6". Can someone help me identify this?

    Thanks!

    Brian------

I'd say that this is an original timing cover for a 1962-68 lower performance small block engine. For Corvettes, this would mean a 250-300 hp during the above years.

It's also possible that this is for a 72-74 small block with 6" balancer (for Corvette, this would be base engines during those years). It depends upon the position of the TDC mark. The only way to really tell them apart would be to compare the TDC position to known-original covers.
