As part of my ongoing SB camshaft research I've enlisted the support of a well known supplier to the racing industry with an excellent reputation going back over 40 years. We are now looking for a 1956 base engine camshaft, which would include the 210 HP single four barrel engine and 225 HP dual four barrel engine.
I pretty sure this is a hydraulic lifter camshaft and the part number is 3711354 casting number "355".
If someone has a new or used camshaft meeting the above description, would you be willing to loan it in order to have it analysed with a Cam Pro Plus camshaft analysing system? The Cam Pro Plus creates a complete data file of lift, velocity, acceleration, jerk, and base circle runnout every crankshaft degree (one half camshaft degree) - essentially a complete reverse engineering of the cam to understand its design.
If you can help out, e-mail me and I'll put you in touch with above individual to arrange shipping.
