    59 rubber radiator seals?

Purchased a set of radiator seals from corvette central. Three pieces #241016 lower seal kit. Are thease correct for a 59 230hp and where do they glue on the radiator or on the support? Does anyone have a good picture to email or post? I want to have the car judged and I am trying to get it correct. Thanks Bill

They are correct for your car--they glue in the gap so that they fill the gap between the body and the radiator support and force the air through the radiator rather than around it. They should be pictured in the AIM, as I recall.

Thanks Mike, do they glue to the radiator or to the radiator support?

Bill, They glue to the radiator support and fill the gap between the support and the radiator. Long skinny one at bottom. The 2 L shaped pieces go at each lower corner of the rad support - right where the diagonal rods attach. Dennis

            All,

Can someone post some pictures of how these rubbers are glued to the radiator support ? If needed post them to me and I'll publish them via my webserver.

            thanks,
            Rob.
