It's time to replace the tires on my '02 ZO6. I've had some concerns about the OE F1 Goodyears that came on the car and I'm considering Toyo T1S high perf tires. Anyone have any experience with this brand and what do you recommend as a replacement?

The Toyo T1-S would be a good choice if you have to drive a lot in heavy rain. They are biased for wet weather performance compared to the OE GY F1 Supercar tires, which is obvious from inspection of the tread designs. The price of the better wet grip is some loss in dry grip. The T1-S is also one of the few tires available in OE sizes.
The OE tire is probably the best overall street tire available as long as wet performance is not a big consideration.
Since NCRS is focused primarily on "vintage" Corvettes, you might want to post this queston on a board that caters specifically to the modern Z06 such as the Z06 Discussion at www.corvetteforum.com
