    67' Master Cylinder Cover

I purchased a master cylinder cover for my 67' Corvette #4062 with power brakes. The master cylinder cover has notation which says "Use Delco SAE J1703 Brake Fluid". The judging manual did not reference the "SAE J1703". Is this a supplier variation which is acceptable for this model year or do I have an incorrect part. You help will be appreciated.

    Dane-----

I think what you have is a Delco replacement cap. This was a widely used cap and was produced over a very long period of time----from 1966 to the present day. Over that period, there have been several changes to the part, including changes to the script seen on the domes.

Dane, where did you get the cap from?
