Old, compressed spring link cushions are the most common cause of rear
ride height sag. If the spring is at least flat, just replace the cushions - less than a one hour jobs and 10 bucks worth of parts.
Just bought a box of 10 spring link cushions from chevy for around $12. Compressed cushions cause many problems like hight sag, hard ride ect, so it's a good idea to keep them around.
