John, From what I've seen and read I believe your car should have the flat satin blade. The polished blade and arm was for very early cars and the peaked blade was for late in the model year. You should check the Judging Manual. I'll also mention that one car we judged at the Boston regional had a polished blade on a satin arm. If I remember correctly the car was made before midyear. John, My late (21,299 - May) '66 coupe has what I believe is an original passenger side arm and blade. It is a satin arm, very peaked satin blade.
I have a mongrel replacement arm and flat blade which was installed at some point on the driver's side. I am trying to find a matching arm and blade for the driver's side. Anyone know a good place to look for this? -- Larry
