c2 water pump

My 64 L76 is rattling badly at the water pump. Anything I need to look out for when replacing the pump? Is a service replacement ok?

if you''re gonna have it judged, get the correct csting # and avoid the tonowanda castings which are pass car pumps and which have an easily detectable incorrect gussett cast into their body. judging manual should give the correct casting #. bill mock of oklahoma usually ads in driveline and usually has rebuilt ones. good luck, mike

c2 water pump

Thanks for the quick response. I got a 326 undated pump from Bill Mock. He says the vent hole is a little bit diferent, but hard to see. I guess these things are getting scarce! Thanks
