Is the fresh air intake cover on my 62 corvette suppose to be that natural color or black? Also, are the bolts that hold it in place painted or natural?

Which fresh air intake cover? The cowl vent in front of the windshield? The heater fresh air hose? The FI intake hose? In my experience, none of those are natural--although Mike is not exactly inexperienced with C-1s. What year, and exactly what part are we talking about?Comment

Mike: i assumed brian was referring to the fiberglass molded ductwork that fastens to the engine side of the firewall and thru it fresh air contacts the heater core. alwasy felt that part was natural, but i've been is left field on more than a few forum responses lately. . BTW, i have a bucket of ashes i can send if you're running low for the coming mid-week. regards, mikeComment
